Output Expansion of the Factory

Expert-Cable LLC intends to implement an investment project worth several billion rubles to expand its output. The company plans to use the Orel Special Economic Zone ( industrial special economic zone “Orel”) in Mtsensk District for the location of the new manufacturing facility

On June, 21, 2021, Nikolay Shin, head of the Orel Region Development Corporation; Sergei Kutenev, head of the Expert Cable LLC, and Maxim Petrov, acting head of the Department of Industry and Trade of the Orel Region participated in active discussion of the topic. The negotiations took place on the company’s premises.

As Sergei Kutenyev noted, this project is of great strategic importance both for Expert Cable LLC and for the industrial development of the region as a whole. The planned production complex, as Sergei Kutenyev clarified, will include conveyor shops where electrical products will be manufactured. He expressed confidence that these products would be in demand in the region and beyond:

“Improved logistics and conveyor assembly will make it possible to keep the cost of production low and thus ensure profitability and competitiveness in the market. As for job creation, we estimate that around three hundred jobs could be created. We intend to cooperate on this issue with the basic university, because the project involves recruiting new specialists. Most of them, of course, will be residents of Mtsensk, which happens to have a branch of Orel State University. Technical and industrial specialists will be from Mtsensk. As the new production facility involves metal processing, we will be in great need of metal workers. And Mtsensk, we know, is a city with a traditionally strong steel industry. And there are dynasties of metallurgists there. They are, in fact, very valuable and rare specialists.”
